      Guessing 5-6000 lbs

I am guessing 1500-2000 for trailer and 4000 for the bobcat. We used to haul a cattle trailer behind our J10 and would have about 8000lbs behind us. It was a heck of a load behind the 258 but we did it....JUST BE CAREFULL...

i'm about 8000lbs empty with the wagon. the wagon alone is almost as heavy as the truck. i'll weigh it tomorrow when i get back to the shop. the snow blade is probably 500+ lbs too. i got the bobcat centered pretty well, about an inch of sag. it pulls well that way,but with a 4200 lb truck you gotta take it easy on the steering input at speed.

There pretty heavy a lot of people don't think they are but if it's diesel the engine alone is a few thousand then the pumps and control valve are another couple thousand so it adds up quick. I know the ones the company I work for sell range from 8 to 12 thousand.

I'd say the old 843 is a good 6500lbs. Another 2k or so for the trailer and 4500 for the truck. Got a class A CDL there Mike?

the trailer pushes the truck around a bit. i wouldn't be blasting down the interstate in the left lane by any means.

That's for sure, my 87 didn't like my 'burb on the wagon when I had to tow it in dead, would not have been so bad but I had to do some hilly stuff.

I don't get over here much since I got sucked into the world of FB, that and I don't have any at home shop area now so no working on projects. I'm on the look out for a solid 80's J-truck frame I'll be due for a plow truck overhaul in a year or 2.
