            Awesome post. I too have a soft for cabovers, so few you see these days on the road. Grandad was a teamster, last rig was a transtar II. Drove everything from chain drive AC's to 12V Brockways. Thanks for sharing your work here.

                    i moved the fifth wheel back 2 holes. it's still a little forward of center but not near as bad as it was as far as steer axle weight.

                        on my hi top coe i leave the 5th wheel all the way back all the time. i can scale a 45K and change water load without moving it forward at all.



                        buddy of mine has a slider i can have but i think i'll leave it on this truck.
