had a 292 straight six in a 69 Chevy truck and now this baby. I love the simplicty. Even with my "learn as you go" experience I can spend all day on this thing...THIS RESTORATION WILL BE THE MOST DIFFICULT AND EXPENSIVE THING I HAVE EVER ATTEMPTED TO ACCOMPLISH HONEY, I SWEAR!!!

very nice! I just don't know why so many people don't keep or give much credit to these motors. yes they cannot go 70 miles down the road in under 6 seconds but the sure have some grunt down low and seem to be very strong motors with nothing much wrong with them.and are fairly easy to get parts for and rebuild.and gas isn't all that bad either
so yes im sticking with my tractor motor!
