It's HOT

When it gets over 90* in the shade, I just can't work out there. Dinked around on the wagon this AM but I just can work in this kind of heat anymore. (too old)
kinda pisses me off.

Yep, we had a couple days of low to mid hundred teens a week or so ago in the Willamette Valley. At least we don't have an 80,000 acre fire cooking in the neighborhood. You're far enough south to avoid it, but still.... Have club members out in Keno that I've known for 40+ years.
When it's 70, I'm looking for a parka, when it's 85, I start shutting down.

It has been over a hundred for weeks now up here in the panhandle. We logged 113 one day. The forest is dry as it ever has been. I have shifted home repair work to fire prep. Just in case. Closing in the woodshed with metal, moving stuff, etc. 2015 we had a 28K acre fire up the road. A 6 week circus of stress. We are much better prepared now but thinking about losing stuff never sits well. I will never complain about having to plow snow twice in one day ever again.

Yeah, the treasure valley has been high 90s to low 100s for weeks now, no end in sight. I chose to relax the last few days after recently returning from a 6-week trip to CA where some of our mtn top sites were 114* instead of working on the waggy in the garage. I'll try to work on it this weekend but it's pretty draining.

This summer is very hot and there is little rainfall in my city. It's very unpleasant, but you have to put up with it.
