1988 Grand Wagoneer - David Rawlins

1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer: AMC 360 V8 and all the stock headaches to go with it. This vehicle is in great shape both inside and out. I purchased it in June of 1996 for a much higher sum than I care to admit. It runs well except for a slight miss at idle. I attribute this to vacuum that I hope to fix soon.

    Work Performed:

Rebuilt Carb. - once by my trusted Jeep mechanic and again by a mechanic that is known for his prowess with a carburetor.
Replaced Cruise Control Module - TJM(Trusted Jeep Mechanic)
Rewired overhead light switches - TJM
    Complete tune-up - TJM
Replaced Rear window felt - TJM
Replaced pressure hose on power steering pump - IDI(I Did It)
    Current mods:

Jacobs Electronics Omni Magnum Team Electronic Ignition.(IDI)
Jacobs Electronics premium plug wires. (IDI)
    Future Hopefuls:

LT-1 and 4L60E transmission. This may give way to one of the later model Vortec truck engines from Ch**y.
Mild lift. 2 or 3 inches tops.
33 Gal fuel tank from Aero Tanks. I may look into the 40 Gal Suburban tank as a replacement for my 20 Gal.
Front and Rear bumpers and brush guards with swing away tire carrier in rear.
29 Gal auxillary tank from Aero. 40 Gal Suburban + 29 Gal Auxillary, I might actually get to pass a gas station
    83 Wagoneer Limited (R.I.P)
    360, TF727, NP228
SOA, 35's, WT Axles, 4.10 gears, Detroit Locker
