LAs most famous car salesman, Cal Worthington, said, "Before you can sell them anything, you have to get their attention." Cal rode an elephant, others flew...
Custer State Park commercial, in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Last shot at the end of the quick commercial, shows a tour-type vehicle going through the park filled with sight-seers. It only shows a shot looking down the passenger side, but it's the unmistakable lines and woodgrain of a GW that's had the top cut off and roll (or canvas) cages installed. Kinda like the Jeep Tour J-trucks in Ouray...

Don't know if it counts but there's a prominent Wag shown in the TV series "Breaking Bad". Hasn't been driven yet that I've seen, and hasn't shown the front.
Breaking Bad! Awesome show. I only watch that and Burn Notice as regular shows.
Skyler (the bald guys wife) drives the GW.
I saw this on Breaking Bad Last night but it must have a powertrain modification because when Skyler put it into park she did it with a console shift even though they didn't actually show the shifter.

I saw today here in LA county an ad for UTAH! and it has in it a red Waggy loaded to the over the topness w/ play toys.... Its good,,, you will see it.
Not a movie but my wife watches "the office" quite regularly. She was watching previous episodes and I caught a white GW in the background for about 3 seconds. If was the episode when Michael drove his car into a lake with Dwight (right after that scene).
The Utah commercial is using a 79 burnt orange wag with 5 slots. I have seen two different ones of it. Was during the first episodes of America, the story of us. They used the same theme in a print ad in Sunset last May.

Tonight on CSI (5-6-10) titled "Lost and Found". At the start of the show a Grand Wagoneer is the scene of a crime. An outside shot and some blood stained interior shots.
