Nice build! I have an 87' GW that I'm dropping a 5.3/4L60E/241C into when I get back from deployment in a couple of months. My wife has family in Santa Fe / Albequrque (we're in Denver), I would really like to take a look at things up close and pick your brain a little bit next time I'm down there if you don't mind. I have a pretty thorough list of parts to pick up and I'm sure there are about a million nickle and dime ankle biters that will creep up. Pictures are great, but being able to put my hands on things and see it live helps me get a better idea of how to go about things. Congrats on getting your rig up and running, looks great!

Update your picture links, I missed them on the first go around and now they are all the black X's , seems like a good swap, I'd like to see it

Just dropped by ifsja because I'm starting to piece together a lift. Noticed the picture links are shot, guess I'll have to figure that out.

24k miles on the swap. Absolutely love it, especially when blowing away lesser vehicles on the highway. Always funny to see the expression on peoples faces when I go WOT and the whole truck squats and goes. Picked up some level 8 trackers and put on firestone le2s. Seem to be very good highway tires and even did well in some little snow.

So far for the lift I have ford f150 springs for the back, and was thinking about using skyjackers for the front. My rear axel is off center and I think the torque twisted the stock spings.

I want to head up to Moab before we leave the southwest
