    Never seen this trim before

Looks like it has the thin wood of the Wagoneers on it. It's a 73 add. Anyone seen one in person?

Didn't see it in person, but i saw this trim in others publications
Maybe it was actually included in the "custom cab" option at that time

I parted one out that was just like that. It was a '73 J4800 and had "camper special" scripts on the side. Sharp color combo.

Yep, I know my PM box is full. Email me instead.

That is a cool color combo.

You know they are slightly rotted out when they leave bits and pieces all over your trailer before you even start to take them apart.

I was wrong, it's not related to the custom cab package, it's a "wood grain trim" option for 73 and both the J2000s and J4000s

              Double stainless trim

I don't think I ever remember seeing picture of the double stainless trim on J Truck.

              See alot on Wags.

              Looks very sharp !

Ghinmi, did the camper special have emblems or decals?

Got anymore pics or trim of the truck U parted?

The 74 Pioneer had thin wood stripe along color break.

The 75 Pioneer had full wood grain like the 75 Custom Wagoneer. One year only.

Here is the 75 Pioneer with full woodgrain from the allpar site (above)...

Edit: I included this because the above wasn't showing up for me. If I'm the only one with issues, let me know and I'll delete it...

Here's all the pictures I've got on photobucket of it. I've got more on my phone but can't figure out how to transfer them. It had chromed pot metal emblems that said "custom cab" behind the door, just above door handle level. I was mistaken when I said "camper special" earlier. You can kind of see where they are in the side view picture. They were pitted and broken so I did not bother removing them before I scrapped it. Below the wood grain was the standard stainless stripe and above the woodgrain was a black (or brown, can't remember) pinstripe. No stainless trim up top.

Both are pioneers, but the large wood grain panels came with the '75

'76 did as well, according to my '76 dealer brochure.
