If you look at Waytek and Del City, there are power distribution boxes from Bussman, BlueSeas, etc. that could be made to work. Typically way more circuits than you need, but you could plug in the...

Not what you are asking, but I'd think the easiest path would be to build one. How neat and tidy it turns out will depend on your effort. The circuit diagram is given here...

No Pertronix conversion module for the BID distributor that I can find. You could fall back to the Delco distributor and convert to Pertronix, though their product for Delco 8cyl distributors does...

Position of the transmission and transfer case will have to change with the 4.0L. The 258 six was used in these Jeeps, and frame towers (motor mounts) and those motor mounts could be used to replace...

Supposedly there are replacement cats that do not need the flow of fresh air from the AI pump. Might be what you are looking for.

Also supposedly - the air pump will rust internally and freeze up...

That'll buff out (The requisite response.)

The parts book shows the same PN from '77 through '80, which implies that the '77-79 Dana 44 backing plates should work for the 20 axle. '74-76 may be ok...

Maybe the same as the later Dana 44s after the Chrysler takeover. Certainly different from the earlier 5-lug Dana 44s which are Bendix brakes. They are both 11"x2", but the 6-lug axles have Delco...

No pictures, but the upgrade is simple in concept. The factory...

The drums should be the only difficult part to source. As I recall, they are a Raybestos 2934R and are available on RockAuto.

Yes, top speed is limited by power, not gearing. Year, model, equipment would help.

Any Jeep built with the 258 (earliest 1971) is capable of speeds well over the legal speed limit. Something else...
