    Two oil senders.

There are two senders mounted to some blocks on the side of my engine block behind the oil filter. A small one with two spades, and a large one with a single wire that appears to be permanently attached to the sender. I assume the small one is for the pressure gauge, am I wrong? What is the big one for?

One is for your gauge. The other is a simple ON/OFF switch that turns on and off your choke. This prevents the electric choke from heating up if you leave the ignition in the RUN position (while listening to the radio, for instance) but DO NOT have the engine running.

Thank you, Ethan. Any idea what it's called? I'd like to replace it if it's cheap because it's old looking and everything else under there looks shiny and new.

IIRC, one is an Oil Pressure Sending Unit and the other is an Oil Pressure Switch...
