Ok, here is the situation...Have 1970 Wagoneer
, had rusted out tailgate...Found pristine 1976 tailgate, with defroster
, and swapped onto my waggy.
I fed original wiring harness through the opening into new tailgate. Also, installed junction block and wiring from original tailgate into new tailgate. The problem I ran into today while trying to finish up this little project, was original tailgate window motor had four wire connection, new tailgate window motor has two wires (tan and brown). Is there any way to modify four wire set-up to function with two wire set-up? I have fried my brain looking at too many wiring diagrams and hope that someone has simple solution...Please help!
