Rear CV after Shackle flip?

I just did a shackle flip to the rear of my wagoneer . Do I have to hav a cv in my rear driveshaft? I installed an np435, and a np205 with a 1350 yoke in the rear. What have you all done?

How many wagoneers are out there with 6 inches of lift, and have a cv in the rear driveshaft?

I did the shackle-flip and lowered the front mount for the rear spring to under the frame, and use J-20 rear springs, and I raised my transfer-case, so it's up about 8"-10" greater difference.

I run 1410-yokes on both ends, and have no difficulty with vibrations, even under heavy load at highway speeds. I do have an anti-wrap bar, though, and my pinion-angle matches my output-shaft angle, so there's no variation in that which would cause things to get screwed up.

6" springs. Like Bob's, matched angles, no CV.

When i did my spring over and shackle flip, i had no issues with the stock drive shafts. Just had them both recut.

'course knowing what i know now, i would have inboarded the springs while i was there(cuz im doing it now). 3.75" bs on the wheels and the 12" tires missed the springs by a hair.

Just wondering: where are you guys finding yokes to upgrade to 1410 u-joints? Do I need to dig out the Spicer catalog, or can I find a good fitting yoke under something at the boneyard?

I just bit the bullet and ordered all new yokes from Jesse at High-Angle Driveline. Don't have the receipt, but it was like $60-$70/yoke at the time, and they were at my door in a couple days.

The 1410 is at the top, with a 13?? below and then one from a D44 below that, and the bottom was the stock front shaft from a Jeep Commando.

I do remember, though, that when I mounted my engine, I sighted through the mock-up block to run the driveline angle right back toward my rear pinion, so the rear angle was minimized.
