So are we ever going to have a west coast ifsja invasion? We should have some sort of event out here on the west coast sponsered by ifsja. Just a thought we do have alot offroad places out here

I probably shouldn't since it's unlikely we would attend but I gotta throw in my 2 cents. I'd stay away from the extreme corners if you want to draw the most people. If you're serious, take a pole as to who is where and how far they're willing to drive. Then find out where the most circles overlap that has some kind of off roading and then set a date.

For those willing to make a trip out of it, I believe there are runs to Moab in a couple/few months, then Ouray about a month after that?

We're in Chino, CA
Range, 200 miles 1-way. If it's not super close we'd be camping and hoping for a multi-day run? There's another question that could effect how far people are willing to go. 1 day? 2? 3?

Chris

yeah me id be willing to make a weekend outa the trip but right now my old jeep isn't starting so it's a pain so how about we start the steping stones for this whole event and may be make it like a huge event (if we can get enough people) and make it a huge west coast run. I like the idea but it would need alot of names to get it up and running so I can see what I can pull togeather over here because heck I get my jeep up and running I'd go about 800 miles.

Sounds like a great idea but keep the following in mind.
IFSJA (as in this site) does not sponsor anything officially as it brings liability into the picture. Any type of organized event has to look at those parameters, but a bunch of FS Jeep owners out having a great time does not have to deal with that.
Other than that, if it worked out location and time wise I would love to do some wheelin' further west someday.

Ok, cool.
I'm thinking you are talking about this.

It has to be at least 2 years out of date unfortunatly.
Feel free to put a group together, I think the SoCal folks have had a few runs over the last couple of years also.
