cj wrangler tail lights on a j-10

I was wondering if anybody has ever seen cj or wrangler tail light assemblies put on a j-10 j-20. When I start repairing the rust on my truck bed I was thinking about filling the tail light holes in with metal and putting cj assemblies in to give it a different look. Any pictures or comments would be cool. Thanks

Step/Sport Side bed J-trucks used lights that were either the same or very close to CJ lights, IMHO you would be better off stuffing a round genaric trailer light in the rear pannel , sorta like the early J-trucks, Done right it should look good without having a taillight hangin out there to get broken off when loading/unloading.

A friend of mine used LED truck tail lights that fit in a rubber gasket. Oblong shape similar to the original.
Looks pretty good. Minor modification required.

That was one of the probs I was wondering about loading and unloading if I built some sort of protection over it this could help. Ive seen those trucks with the rounded lights they have a good look to them. My truck is an 83 the circular lights were on the 60 models i think any how I think it could have potential to be a killer mod.

The reason I thought of this was I have desire to make my truck look some what like a M-715 a truck I wished I had., but there not a great choice for a daily driver. Some of those trucks come with a rounded taillight and in general they look just awesome all over.
