Who's on my route from St. Louis to Dallas?

I'm flying to St. Louis, MO on Saturday to pick up my new Jeep. I was wondering if there were any people here that may be willing to help that are on my route back to Dallas in the unfortunate event something goes wrong with it.

I plan to head straight down I-44, going through Springfield, MO, Tulsa and Oklahoma City, OK. Then I-35 South into Dallas.

I'd be willing to help, but you'll have to get lost first...

Jim,

By the time you hit the OK/TX border you should be home free. But just in case, shoot me a pm and we'll get one another's cell #'s.

Good luck and have a safe trip.

Uh, maybe I missed something, I coulda sworn you bought a house in upstate NY, big wraparound porch, etc.

You living in the Dallas area now?

Forgive me if I'm off base, I AM going to turn 52 shortly.

Oh, and good luck with the trip, sounds like fun.

Changed my mind. After thinking it was either going to be this:

or this:

I decided to go where I wouldn't have to get up every morning to shovel snow before leaving for work.

Plus, TX was closer to both of our families.

Today I met medinajim2000 and got a chance to check out his new Wagoneer. All I can say is WoW! What a clean wag. The seats looked like they were never sat on. Anyway, here are some pics with my wag (mine is light blue).

Made it back to Dallas yesterday afternoon with no problems. It was a great trip. I met up with Woodchomper after I bought the Wag, took it to his place where he went over it with a fine tooth comb. He even loaned me some tools for the trip back (if I have 'em, I won't need 'em kind of a thing). Thanks for all your help.

PS: Very nice Wag you got there, too.
