The J-20 clicked over 100,000 on the way to Colorado Springs in 1987.
Put another 7,500 miles on it until we got home.
Did 2 other coast-to coast trips with it. one with camper, one with travel trailer, each trip about 9,000 miles in a period of 6-7 weeks.
Now has almost 182,000 miles on it.

2600 Oregon to Alaska in a 71 Wagoneer with my dad at the wheel in 79 or so. Took 3 weeks on the Alcan back then with the faimly and dogs aboard. The FSJ probubly only had 50K or so on it at the time though...

SoCal to Minneapolis - to 'rents lakehouse - back to Minneapolis - then back to SoCal.

Even dragged along the dog and the 1yr old
I'd probably do it again.

'87 GW w/176K on the clock. the engine is an '89 transplant with unknown mileage--possibly around 100K when it was put in last Spring. ford ignition upgrde, edlebrock carb and non-EGR manifold, 3" lowrestriction cat-free exhaust

I pretty much routinely drive 2000-3000 miles each month for my work, since about mid-June or so this year it has all been in the GW except for a couple shorter trips I did in the Fiero. I drive all over Indiana, visiting each county courthouse 4 times a year on a fairly consistent quarterly schedule.
In addition I make a trip down to south central Tennessee (Lawrenceburg area--south and west of nashville-about 15 miles from the AL line) about every other month. These trips are about 800 miles each way.

I've been slowly working through several minor issues, but so far (knock on wood) I've only had to make repair while on the road and that was a fan belt replacement.
Mostly I've been getting 12/13 mpg--up to 15 on some stretches where I'm running on flatland freeways with little stop and go. I recently upsized for the factory tires to Ni-filled 31x10.5x15s and that may help a smidge with mileage though cold weather driving, winter blend fuel, and increased idling ot warm it up have eroded mileage a the same time

2000 miles to Ouray and back in '03. It had 83,000 on it but the timing chain was trying to saw its way through the front cover and it would use a quart of oil per tank of gas. I didn't discover the source of the noise untill I rebuilt the engine 1 1/2 years later.

My son and I did 4200 miles in 11 days this past summer (to Ouray and back in a rather round about way...).
This was in my '91 Grand Wagoneer with 128,000 miles on it when we started. I had to add one quart of oil in the entire trip.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat...

4900 miles Sacramento to DFW,TX and back in Oct 06 (a month after I bought it.)

3000 miles Sac to Ouray in back in 07

Those 2 trips are over half the miles I've put on it since I bought it.

3/4 of a mile. I bought it from a guy at the end of the block and crawled home because only the emergency break worked at about 10% efficiency.

Then it got cold here and I now have to wait untill spring to start work on her but she ran flawlessly @.5 MPH

1521 miles from Ohio to Wyoming. 6cyl 83 chero that I got off of ebay. Started out with 108,220 miles.
Average Fuel Economy (MPG) 18.2.
Does the mileage sound right I pushed it pretty hard?
(Only had two days to get it back to WY)

w over 330Kmiles...Drove 1200miles one way to Moab in April 08 (and yes I thought that my mental status was questionable). Same in April 07.... and In April 06 it was 3500miles the long way going to as many National Parks as I could, Ok it was under 310kmiles on the powertrain.

Not too sure about 09 in the same wagoneer.... still chasing some gremlins.

100k isn't really all that high mileage for these things.

I've made quite a few Carolina/Colorado "commutes" in the Wag -- about half the time pulling a trailer. These trips are a minimum of 1,700 miles each way, but have ranged up to 5,000 since I prefer do doodle around in more interesting places than McInterstates.

I never have had a working radio in the rig, and I don't sing all that well.
