My 230 has a rubber breather tube coming from the metal tube on the drives side of the block to the air cleaner. The rubber is all cracked. Any reason why I can't put on a metal breather cap like some of them had?
Also, does the 2bbl air cleaner fit the 1bbl carb? I'd like to go with an oil bath air cleaner. Also, is the 230 oil bath air cleaner the same as anything else? 232 maybe?
And for the pic request, can anyone post pics of thier factory alternator and brackets? Someone cobbed a GM 1 wire alt and cut up my brackets.
