Holley truck avenger, need a power valve!

Well the power valve on my holley is pretty well toast. I am having a heck of a time finding a new power valve. Anyone know if I need some for any holley carb? Or one that is for the truck avenger. Any help would be great, not having much luck searching sites to find what I need.

The Oreilly auto parts here has a section of stuff just for the Holley Carbs. Jets, powervalves, rebuild kits. Not sure if this is the norm though.

Thanks....I don't have an Oreilly 'round here, just Auto Zone and Schucks. Ill check out jegs and summit.

So are the power valves for most holleys what I need for the truck avenger or do I need one FOR the truck avenger?

As long as the package says holley, your good. I replaced the one in my truck avenger with one from off the shelf at my local advance auto.

i don't know what vacuum rating I need. I'll have to pull the carb off the jeep and dig into it. I know on jegs website it says that the carb uses a 4th generation power valve.....

POWER VALVE FAILURE

There is a little check vavle you can buy and install so that the powervalve will not get damaged if you backfire. Summit sells them. Y ou need to seperate the base from the body to install it. I thought that all the later Holleys had them. I also thought that the Truck Avenger and the Street Avenger used the two stage power valve.

every holley since the early 90's comes with the check valve installed. it uses the single stage. i've seen dual stage valves used only in emissions applications.

summit has the whole truck avenger line.
