Tested my 0-60 times this morning
I've had a G-tech pro meter in the toolbox from years ago when I was into upgrading cars for performance.
This morning I found it and put in the my 89 wag to laugh at the results.
0-60 in 11.89 secs. Has anyone else done this? How much slower am I than you? My stock carb is crappy so I am curious. I don't think any of the other engine mods on this jeep are doing anything, not that it really matters on a boat anchor like vehicle.
Let me know, curious to hear.

79 Cherokee WT with 33x12.50s, 3.54 gears, Holley Street Dominator intake, TFI ignition, Edel 650 or thereabouts carb, K&N filter, Quadratrack locked in e-drive with the front shaft removed.
It's quicker if you manually shift as was shown to me before I handed over a fat wad of 100's for it, but I haven't done that since.
I letcha know what she'll do after I pop another TH400 and PT kit QT in it here in a few weeks
My ole Jtruck will prolly have more power, but the ancient t18 isn't exactly a speed shifting demon. More like "Massey Ferguson Lightning"

LMAO, that's what I was thinking. With the T18A and 4.09 gears in the diffs, I'm not even sure I can reach 60.

Don't know nothing about 0-60.
B350/Th400/4.10's/315's/Welded GovLok
I can get it to 70 or so on a good day.
Right about that time it's best to stop for lunch.
It does get a whopping 9.6 MPG (depending on wind/hill/rotation of the earth).

Mine's not *that* fast anymore, but with a Truck Avenger carb, single 3" exhaust, roof-rack, and 32" tires with 3.07 gears, it still smoked the heck out of a new F-150 with the 5.4 V8 (I know that's not saying much), and a previous generation Tundra V8.
Years ago, after the rebuild, and with dual exhaust and stock tires, I remember smoking an IS-300 from a light.

Sorry, but Toyota's 4.7L v8 is a turd.
Yeah, the T18 hardly makes for a fast FSJ. But the great thing with a stick is you can rev the crap out of it and shift as fast as you can & PRETEND you are going fast.
But I think mine is actually faster sitting in the driveway with me making engine & shifting sounds by mouth.

my 360 with a t18A and 3.54s, stock tires suspension etc. will do it in about 8sec. over the summer i beat an acura integra that was a sleeper he had me for a little bit, but once I shifted into 3rd it was over. I have yet to race a Tundra with the 5.7 because everyone around here who has a tundra is so proud there driving a toyota that there scared theyll be beaten by a jeep i guess.

The wood paneling make's them not want to race you even more
If they lose they have to explain to there friends in the car what just happened

The wood paneling is what makes it fast. Seriously though, I picked up a tenth in the quarter and 2 tenths 0-60 when I put the magnetic wood on last time.

You're going to need more than that if you want to keep up. Got a few tricks up my sleeve for next season.
