Hello, new guy, green jeep..

Hello, new guy here, long time owner. This is my 1983 4dr Jeep Cherokee 258 4spd. It's an old Forest Service Jeep. I think it was originally from Tennessee (Cherokee National Forest of course ) It was bought used as a field vehicle in 1990 and I've been driving it since. It saw heavy service pretty much from 1990 through 2003, as it took me and others all over on and off road here Minnesota and Westeren Wisconsin.
She sat in the garage for the last five years till the urge to get it rolling took over this fall, so now she's back on the road in a slightly "road Queen-ish" way.
It's a bit rusty, but has always been garaged. top half forest service green lower half, ace safety green rattle can as needed.
Here's a few more pics:
Fall 2008 here in minneapolis:

1998 on bed rock near granite falls.

cheers,
-jaw

Thanks DerekTJeep!
In 18 years of ownership I've never seen another 4dr 1983, forest service or not. I like to think I have the last one made, last one on the road..
cheers,
jaw
