Good Gawd, I'm sitting on a goldmine!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190122005555&ssPageNam e=MERC_VI_RCRX_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=20026 8671293&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=active_view_item& usedrule1=CrossSell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_pro mot_widget&_trksid=p284.m184&_trkparms=algo%3DCRX% 26its%3DS%252BI%252BSS%26itu%3DISS%252BUCI%252BSI% 26otn%3D4

$900 bucks for s FSJ T18. If cleaning one up and throwing seals in it gets you $900 for one.....Hmmm.

Jesus, they want a core to. Says they will up the price $300 if no core.

I think you can get a rebuilt one from Novak with your choice of adapters/output shaft for $1100.

Theres a j20 here at a shop that I was looking at. He walked up to me while I was looking at it and told me that they tried fixing it but it had a weird tranny and you couldnt get parts for it. I just oh yea and then laughed when he walked away. I think he wanted some outragous price for it too. All it had was a T-18.

That is probably the T18 that came out of the J truck that I sold him several months ago for 300.00.

I happen to be using mine at the moment. Although I am not a mechanical genius, I do believe that the tranny ( and not the kind Gambler looks for when he " goes into town " ) is an intergral part of the motivation equation. I will admit that I have never tried to drive the jeep without the tranny in it, so this is all pure speculation on my part.

Many many of us have paid far less than $1,200 for motorvating FSJ's.
