Frame Off GW Build - What Parts Will Be Impossible To Find?
My Grand Wagoneer build is on the brink of spiraling out of control. Everything comes apart so easily that I'm seriously considering taking it all the way down and rebuilding it completely.
Do I need to be aware of any unobtainable parts? Rubber parts, weather stripping, window wipes... is there anything that I'll kick myself later for not anticipating now?

Krek,
I doubt it. Between everyone here, BJ's, Zack and so many other's, parts needs would be the least of my worrys.

Yep. The cost. Sit down and list all possible rebuild related costs you can think of. When you are all done add it all up and then mulitply by 3-4 and you're probably in the ballpark. Tha formula pretty much works for your estimated schedule as well. Post pictures!

Yeah, the only things I can think of that are usually impossible to find are:
enough time
and
enough money.
Other than that, I think you can come up with 'most everything else.

Just follow the old adage, don't toss anything until the job is complete, and you should be fine.

That plastic piece that goes across the inside top of the tailgate. I think it is supposed to protect the glass? Those things seem to be hard to find, and when you do find one, like the cracked on on ebay right now, the price is right up there with the cargo covers and the rhino grills..

Yeah Im sure of course you looked at the costs up front. My J-10's nose came off easily too and then it sat while I waited and waited for more money. next paycheck. next paycheck... it sat for about a year and a half. I finally put it back together and Im back driving it . It was my only DD-worthy FSJ in the yard though so my patience wore thin quickly and I scrapped the idea of restoring it right away. Im going to wait a while til I dive back into it. The major problem is it doesnt NEED anything but I WANTED a "like new" FSJ. Getting it to that point was going to be more expensive than it was work. I think Im rambling now but I thought I might add my 2 cents.
