is 3rd row seat stock in GWs?
hi all, just started searching for that dream GW and have much to learn. but i'm curious: one of the things i want is the third seat. was that stock or an option? or maybe stock in some years but not others? if i find a waggy i like that lacks the 3rd row seat, what can i do about it?

As far as I know, there never was a third row seat in FSJs.

Third row seating is not stock.

If you plan on throwing kids back there in it, be sure that ALL your rear seals are super tight. I remember being put back in the cargo area and emerging half dead after a few hours
$1300 for that seat installed is INSANE. I bet a baby jeep rear seat would work fine.

Yes they do fit like a glove. I had a rear seat out of a YJ and was going to do the same thing, but lost the need. I set it in as a mock-up, and was impressed at how it fit. The only thing I saw, was that the rider would have to have VERY short legs.

I did the same thing for my wifes XJ for a short time. Mounted a TJ rear seat facing the back. It was for a 3 and 5 year old.
