Jeep GW Bed Liner
I currenly have the carpet removed in the bed of my gee dub. I was thinking of some ideas to put something there instead of carpet. Maybe a thick rubber mat. Anyone have anything like that or know where you could get one that would fit?

Something like these. I have some real thick ones we were throwing out at work, they work great.

I just posted yesterday what I did in my cargo area. Look at my post in this thread. Maybe it will give you some ideas.

When I bought my Jeep the previous owner replaced the carpet with a thick rubber mat. After awhile I could never make it look clean. I ripped it out and I have painted roll on bedliner onto the floor. I also have new carpet from BJs that is going in soon.

AWAZAKI: Love that set up! I want to do something similar with the MDF! Just use the old panel to trace a pattern, then saw it out, paint it and drill it in? Run into any difficulties?

when I get a wagon, I plan on removing the carpet and herc. the floors. then I'm goning to have custom carpet made that will either snap in place or molded so when not trailing, I can have a sweet comfey wagy.

Took the original carpet out soaked it in simple green and greased lighting, pressured washed it and it looks good as new. While the seats were out Herculined the floorboards and rocker panels. Put the seats back in and cut the old carpet around the seats so I can remove it for cleaning and if it gets wet. Works out well.

You should have HAD a 2 piece rubber mat already under that carpet. Fits in the grooves like it was made for it (beacause it was). Bed liner on the entire floor works well..one of my cheros had that done and it rocks. BJ's sells pretty good full carpet kits too that I'd say are worth the coin.
