Hey Fellas,
I installed an Edelbrock Throttle Cable Adapter to relocate my throttle and cruise brackets to better align with my Holley carb. Here's a link to the adapter:
The throttle seems to be OK, but the cruise isn't working correctly now. Before the bracket was moved, the cruise would pickup about 5mph when it set. Now, it looses about 5mph and won't accelerate using the thumb switch.
So, my questions are, does the position of the cruise control cable (distance away from the throttle) change the way the cruise works? And, what do I need to do to adjust the cruise so it will function correctly again? Do I just need to shorten the chain to make up the difference from the old bracket position to the new bracket position? Thanks.
John
