HELP baby blue stuck in Bozeman MT

Hey guy's anyone have any ideas on a mechanic in Bozeman ?
Baby Blue got backed off the trailer so the shipper could unload some boats, then has no start, no crank, solenoid clicks, and has had a jump but does the same, so either a solenoid or starter issue.

If someone local can recommend a local shop/mechanic ASAP that would be great.

Did he 'tap' or 'rap' the ignition module...sometimes a light tap gets them working again, or possible that the neutral safety switch is an issue..re-reading that your solenoid clicks...just a thought. Wish I could help yah out, but bumping this back up.

(oops,,,this is that manual trannied rig right?)...

I know they jumped it, but it still sounds like battery to me. Mine was doing the same thing summer before last. I went the whole summer hardly driving it because I was convinced it was the started and just didn't have time to change it out. Then, one day on a whim, I put the voltmeter on it... battery was dead. Put a new battery in it and it fired right up. Taught me a good lesson. Maybe the driver could borrow a battery to stick in it to get it back on the truck...

It's worth a try...

Check the battery cable and ground connections and maybe swap a new fender solenoid. See if that helps.

Sounds like you're in the same situation I was in with one I had hauled here.
Wouldn't start for the shipping truck. A member came through for me and stopped by to get it running.

Of course the day the truck actually arrived, it wouldn't start again. They ended up paying a guy with a bobcat to push it on the truck for me. Pushed the bumper into the rear quarters for me. Nice job!

Kinda odd the trailer guy doesn't have a winch, or at least a come-a-long? jeez.

good luck

M&W Repair and Wrecker

(406) 587-5506

I used these guys once when i lived up there, they didnt shaft me, too bad its not in missoula then i could really help you with more connections, but in Bozeman they are the closest shop i know of that i would recommend.

i rarely send my rigs in but they didnt shang-high me, and they seemed like good guys. why not just call AAA or a wrecking company and have them winch it with a snatch onto the trailer deck

Thanks dusty,

Same guy the NAPA guy told me about. I think it is covered, sounds like it was a loose starter wire. (PITA for such a small problem)
