Heres an idea for you J truck owners...

We FSJers already have the Super Wagoneer.......Has anyone ever thought about or built a "Super J-Truck"? Super Wag interior, emblems, hubcaps, trim, ect...

Just a thought...I think itd be pretty sweet

Wouldn't be that hard.

The hardest part will be rounding up all the parts you need.

To be honest, it never crossed my mind until your post today .

Yikes a J-truck with a vinyl roof and a luggage rack? If you decide to build this abomination at least use one of the later brow less pseudo J-trucks ok?

There was a guy on ebay that had a j truck with a complete super wag interior uninstalled to go with it. Hood stuff, "Super" emblems to go above the J emblems, AC, console, I dont know what else you would need if you had an early 70's truck.

That's kinda of the plan for my 64 J300. I have the entire interior from my 70 Wag Custom, plus the center console, tilt column, and AC from a super.......

But no vinyl roof for me......

All I need is a headliner and black buckets........

Now to find the time to stick it all together......

if i keep my J10 around long enough...i plan to make my own headliner out of sheetmetal. going to put the switces for the power windows/mirrors over head, utilize some of the space up there.

I have thought about using a custom Wag in-dash AC unit in my truck since my future plans call for a center locking console (not the Jeep one since I'm keeping the manual 4spd), so I won't need the center dash glovebox anymore and I really would like to keep the underdash clear for CB's and gauges.

Hey, my old 66 chebby has a sheetmetal headliner! Watch it if you do that, kinda hurts when my head bounces off of it during jumps!
