Air compressor-anyone I.D. this?

Can anyone tell me what type of compressor this is? I believe it came from a '76 Cherokee but not sure. It had already been removed and was in the back seat. Thanks!

Sanden, generally used on the later model wags.

Certainly not stock on a 76, Jeep used York compressors at that time.
Not 100% but I would guess it is a Sandon but from what I have not a clue.

The consensus seems to be Sanden but not necessarily from a Jeep. That's what you get when you buy Jeep-in-the-box! Thanks, Brett.

I only problem I see with it being a sanden is it doesn't have the same mounts as the Jeep Sandens that I have here. Most of them mounted to two of the four tabs cast into them. It could be a Sanden, but taken off of a Chevy and made to fit. I take a few pictures and post them of the ones that I have.

It looks like one from a Chrysler front wheel drive car or mini van, 2.2L.
