Chevy S-10 Steering box???

Ok so I just heard about this.
What are the pros and cons????
Is this a direct bolt on????

Does it mater if the box is for a 2wd or 4wd S-10???

ok found out alot, but will my drop pit man arm work on the s-10 box?????

I cant say for sure as I have yet to install the box in mine but I would think so they are both GM boxes but i would measure just to make sure.

Yes, I have a BJ's dropped pitman bolted on my '98 S-10 4x4 steering box (on the Cherokee) - it works great.

The only real "con" to the swap is that only 3 of the 4 frame bolt holes will be re-used. I installed Tad's steering brace to compensate. Other than that, it is a nice upgrade IMO.

Send me some pic's if you can please I'd like to update the page over the holidays. I think you and Sitting Bull are the only two on S10 boxes.

The way my frame looks? You sure? I'll snap some............but it'll be like watching Janet Reno wear a beautiful thong. (the brace = the thong) LOL

Remember, mine's a trail beater.....don't need no stinking paint on da frame! LOL your brace, BJ's extended shackles, and the F350 front shock towers are the most beautiful parts on it.
