First fiberglass rear fender ready!/pics...

Got tired of all the rust and made a rear fender in fiberglass instead.
It turned out really good! Will be trial fitting it later this weekend.

No more rusty fender flares!

That is excellent work! Next question: Would it be feasable in time and dollars for you to make more?

Beautiful work!! Would suggest using panel bond adhesive to attach after you cut off the old outer panels. Hope you can save the inner wheel housing.

Have you thought about marketing them if they work out? I think you could sell a few of them here if the price was right. I know, a lot of time and material in them, but at least you have the mold.

Thanx for the replies!
I would not mind selling some fenders, but the problem is that I live in Sweden...(thats in Europe... )
I know the big market is over there. They only sold like 50 Chiefs or something like that here in Sweden...
Check out the website to see how rust eat Chiefs overhere...They put salt on the roads during the winter...

Okay, Carbon Fiber would give it a Ricer Bling look, but Hey, I would like see what one would look like in Carbon!
Give those Ricers something to look at just before that 401 tailpipe blasts 'em in the face! HAHAHA

They use salt here too in some areas. Given the difficulty in fixing the Cherokee rear flare area, you might still get some buyers. Shipping might be cheaper than body work!

Looks really nice! I've done a little fiberglassing (nothing that big though) and your work really impresses me. Keep it up!

Very impressive!

What is the weight loss of the fiberglass vs. the metal?
