FSJ and ABS
Hi Forum,
Sometimes I see FSJs for sale claiming to have ABS. Are any FSJs produced having ABS?
Regards
Rob

FSJ's didn't even have EFI from the factory, and that usually comes before ABS.

ABS is for idiots. Learn some basic physics and you'll be fine.

ABS drives me insane, it makes the d@amn pedle vibrate, the abs went out on my 99 expo, love it, it stops faster!!!!! esp. when towing.
i agree, no FSJ came out with ABS.
the ABS is nicer to have on snow/ice tho.

An FSJ *could* be retrofitted with ABS but it would take some work. Don't think it's ever been done tho.

I care to differ i have a toggle switch on all my rigs to de-activate it on ice and snow. The Montnaa highway patrol put us through several of thier highspeed training winer courses and the abs made things far more un-predictable.
IMHO a non abs rig can out perform an abs equipt rig almost everytime.

My insurance company says they do have ABS. I get a discount for it on my '91. Can't tell 'em otherwise - that's what the computer says.
