Can't save them all I guess
Finally got the Eagle's 4WD fixed so I found some old mining roads and tested it out, works great  At the end of the one road I came across a scrapyard so I stopped by and spoke with the owner and he gave me the OK to walk around. There were about 2 dozen Cherokees both NT's and WT's along with another 2 dozen FSJ's in the Wagoneer and J-Truck flavors and 2 stripped out M715's. There was also a bunch of old AMC cars, INTL scouts, old Broncos and other cool stuff. Out of all the FSJ's he had about 10 401's on site.
There was an '84 GW with a 6" lift, IFSJA sticker  , remanned 401, headers, winch bumper and some other goodies all riding on 5 slots wearing 235's. The guy was only asking $400 for the entire truck. He also had a 60's CJ-5 that he wanted $100 for.
Only downside was that he told me a crusher was coming today and getting it all. Low and behold it did, guess you can't save them all....Wish I woulda found this place like 2 months ago.

Nope, no joke. He did however spare the J-Trucks and Cherokees but no parts off of those are for sale.
I've got a 401 coming tho...

UPDATE: Just went back for the helluvit today and the Grand Waggy is still there. Turns out it's an '85, has 104K on the clock, glovebox chock full of speeding tickets and the like, drives like a dream but the guy can't find the title and won't sell without it.
He also 'claims' to me the Wagonmaster dude was there and made an offer but I doubt they'd touch anything modded, lifted and rusted so who knows....Am going to go back tomorrow, will keep ya'll posted
