Tailgate wiper motor

Either I suck at the search thing (probable) or the info's not there.

I need a new wiper motor and the tailgate of my '90 GW and was wondering if any of you knew what all this came in. Just the GW '88 to '91? Same wiper motor in the XJ? Any crossover with anything?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Ron

I think the only game in town is, http://www.grandwagoneers.com/GWtailmtr.html

Some have had spotty luck with with this vendor, from memory they adapted another motor to work, I know of no other source. (Unless you have your own machine shop)

He's looking for the WIPER motor, not the window motor.

If you get the whole tailgate, it "should" have the motor attached, unless it's been ripped out previously, or never had one to begin with.

Mike was right about the wiper motor, but just had the wrong link: http://www.grandwagoneers.com/rear-w...place_kit.html

Finding a working used one is almost impossible.

Your right, I was not looking close, there was one of the off beat vendors (team-wagoneer, or wagoneer something) that had a rear wiper setup, non OEM, adapted from some other application, sorry I just jumped before reading.

Ohh well, Looks like BJ's now has/had them also

BJ's Offroad has a kit to adapt a later version I think. Get ahold of either Brent or Ryan for the info. Link to their website in the vendor section

Whew! I hope BJ's is a LOT less or I will be just plugging that hole for a while! The first link was probably a nice unit but the $350 just about gave me a heart attack!
Thanks for the replies! Very helpful for a GW noob!
