Question Anyone have a source for seats?

I am looking for a set of Tan (Sand) seats for my 89 Wag and I simply can't find any. I'm even willing to pay a few bucks for 'em.... This isn't a "wanted ad" I'm looking for some direction on places to find some seats. I've watched daBay and craigslist all over the US with no luck. I've searched car-part.com weekly. I've looked at teamgrandwag and Bj's.

I'm out of ideas.

Anyone know of a place to find some stock seats or have a boneyard near you with a set in good-excellent condition?

Thanks,

Chad "tired of foam nuggets" H.

Good luck finding some. I've been keeping my eye open for some around here... no luck. Right now I have seat from a mid 90's Cherokee bolted to the stock power seat base. This gives me reclining high back buckets that are very comfortable and supportive

I actually saw a set of used leather mid 90's cherokee seats for sale and didn't know if they would fit. Do both sides fit or did you have to fab a mount?

Thanks,

Chad

I used the stock power seat mount. Had to weld on two small tabs to the passenger side to get two holes to match up. Then I cut an opening into the outside plastic cover to mount the power seat controls. The seat sit a little higher that stock, but I'm 6'2" and don't have a problem. I'll try to get a picture or two for you tomorrow

I seen some tan seats here a couple of week ago May be costly but

http://www.grandwagoneers.com
They only show the burgundy till you click on the pic then it goes to the tan

I have some tan power leather seats the drivers seat is not in the best shape - the rear and passengers side front is pretty good.

That would be great. Although to be honest after all the searching I'm really leaning towards a set of Bestop pro seats in light tan and just mounting them to my bases and calling it a day. It seems like a lot of work and headache to either buy stock seats that aren't all that great in the first place (comfort wise) or spend hours saving maybe $200 bucks. I can buy the Bestop or Rugged Ridge seats for $500 and bolt them in and go.

I'd still love pics though just in case I change my mind...lol.

Hey thanks for the lead but I've heard way too many horror stories about that place.

I can't even imagine what the shipping would be from Alaska to Texas....ouch.

Thanks for the lead! I'll give them a call. Zach doesn't have any but he's looking for some other parts for me.

Thanks again!
