Check out these Jeep tours near Amarillo, TX

I can remember if I already posted this or not, but I almost fell out of my chair a few months ago when I saw the brochure for this place.

It is called Elkins Ranch, and they give tours in the Palo Duro Canyon (second largest canyon in the country) outside of Amarillo, TX. I will try to find better pics, but go to their website and check it out. http://www.theelkinsranch.com/Movie1.html

All their Jeeps are choptop FSJ's painted like milk cows with hot pink bumpers..

Wouldnt it be great to take a caravan of our FSJs to the Elkins Ranch?

..
Dmntxn77;

... Doris and I have been all over that place in our ‘76 401 and an 84 CJ 7 automatic. We took a lot of video.
They have some neat quick sand in the river there and there are tricks to getting across with out sinking besides having to drive 40 mph across the sand… It takes two jeeps to winch one out… if they latch onto it soon enough!
... The Ranch also has some of the best food in the world. Yup... It's a neat 4x4 place with lots of trails.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..
There was a time when some people got rich buy providing a better product at a lower price.
Now they get rich by ripping us off and paying off the politicians. Can you spell DEREGULATION
Can you spell TXU.

Yeah, I just moved to Amarillo, and have only made it out to the river once before I got called back up to WA for the Air Force. I should be done here in a few months and plan to spend a large part of the summer at the river and in the Canyon next year..
