I reckon that depends on where you want to stay. We have had people show up and get lucky for a site. Sometimes the available sites also means there is a chance you get moved after you are set up a couple days. the Timber Ridge also has tent and camper style camping just down the road. Lots of hotels. Since we usually show up on Tues and start runs Wednesday, we also usually beat the weekend crowds. Then Saturday can be a free4all.

They don't have tent sites any more. I tried there a couple of years back and they went to all RV/camper.

We have an extra site reserved, and it sounds like a few in our party may be dropping out, so if you don't mind sharing we should have and open spot. If you are coming are you coming through NE? We are leaving the Saturday prior, but you are welcome to convoy with us.

OK FOLKS...

Dave is about to release sites we have on hold. The map is shown above. Some sites in "our area" are still open.

I am expecting a listing from Dave in the next days or so. Then I'll confirm with each of you by PM.

Thanks!

Lookin forward to trompin the top of 13000 foot mountain passes with all those who can make it in 2008.

I'll try and get myself a site..waiting for money to come in. from somewhere.
Otherwise it'll be year 3 of being a 'you got some free space for this gypsy?' guy.

Rez made. I'm either 52C or 53.

The last Cozad Convoy was interesting. It was a late one, but Kenny and I just couldn't leave fellow Jeepers sitting on the road somewhere. It was kind of neat though...one rig out of three overheating just short of the top of Monarch Pass, and it WASN'T a Jeep!

Alan, Pam, Mikki, I'd convoy with you again anytime!
