We have also received some of the raffle items. We plan to raffle on Thursday night sometime around the BBQ. Raffle tickets for $2 each and for $10 each will be available beginning Tuesday eve when ever Krista and/or I are around the KOA. Look us up. Site 47A.

Cool on the raffle! To follow Flint's lead, shirts will be available starting Tuesday whenever we get to KOA (and after camp is set up and I have a nice cold drink in hand!), and whenever you can catch me. I am in site 47C. On another off-topic note, it looks like the vehicle woes might be on the way out got some good news from the shop today. But like I said, that's for a different thread. Bryan might post sometime about it now that he's not wrenching 24/7!!

Uhhh nevermind, just talked to Bryan and the AC problem is another $600. I think it's non-essential at this point (way too much $$$ already spent on other stuff) but Bryan thinks it's a necessity SO he already told the shop to start on it . I guess it's not vacation 'til you break the bank! Yeah I'm being funny but I'm really not a happy camper right now.

GASP! LOL! Ouray is the Alps of America. Pretty much where FSJs were born to drive. Come on down and we'll take you out for a spin above tree line!

Why is there always a Eureka in every State down there? lol.

I am not sure we have had any Canadians show up for a Ouray gathering. We welcome you to come!

Well, you can probably guess the Eureka in Colorado is a mining town. I am surprised it is actually on a map because the only thing there is a modern construction of the old train depot building. The town was originally in the flood plain of a creek fed by many 12 and 13 thousand foot mountains and the original Eureka is long gone. The rest of that area is now camping spots on forest service land.

Orders still coming in... gotta go order the shirts soon though. I can probably add to it if needed and if it's in the next couple of days. I believe the grand total now is 71.

Shirt wrap-up

After some last-minute orders, our shirt total is 73. A few of you put in a little extra with your orders to help with shipping, tax, other costs, etc. Because of that, it looks like we will be giving Ouray Mountain Rescue $300, which is about $4.10 per shirt! Most of you have already paid or made arrangements to pay me in Ouray. Other than that, if you haven't paid yet (yes I made some exceptions to the prepay rule) please paypal if possible or just give me cash in Ouray, any outstanding balances as of this Friday are coming out of my vacation fund . Thanks.

Wow, that is just AWESOME BethAnn! If anyone doesn't get squared up with BethAnn by Friday the 13th, they will have to answer to the crazy black dog with one blue eye.

Wow!! That's 3 bricks! Might be able to build that place if the raffles turn out this good.

Watch your pillows around the crazy one blue eyed black dog.
