KOA Pix

23 Full Size Jeeps Invaded the Ouray KOA last week. An Exploder and a 1 speed Durango too. From New York & Pennsylvania to California. From Georgia to Wyoming. From Kentucky to Utah. From New Mexico and Aridzona. From Missuori to Nebraska. From El Paso to Houston Texas. From 4 Corners to Denver Colorado. They came and road the thin line on the edge of the Earth.

Not pictured here is Sean's Cherokee and the 401 Cherokee that dropped by 4 Sale.

Hey, anyone get some camp fire pix? I don't recall seeing any flashes around the fire... Well, except for the one that tried to set Ryan on fire.

It was a close call! ColeTrickle ran out of gas at his campsite and durn near got it! But Sean had the right mix of perserverence and insanity to get all the way from NY with a smokin Quadratrac in a roofless, hoodless Cherokee.

Thumbs up shots!

The shot glass has to get another hand off next year! Did it go to Co Springs or Columbia?

Crom ate some a gear in the transfer case. Charlie/Craig could not locate a used one nearby so Craig set it up for two wheel drive so he could get it home. Tons of parts at home, wouldn't doubt if it were fixed the next day after he got there. Crom did good this year before it broke that part.
Ya'll shoulda seen Craig drop off Red Mountain into Ouray, like a little kid running his soapbox derby car 'cept Charlie and Craig didn't have helmets!
Charlies yellin' we gotta make this next corner and it's sharp! Believe they did several corners on two tires, they were half way down before we made it 1/4 of the way down. Caught up with them about a mile north of Ouray and had to give them a push thru the flat parts (knew there was a reason I hadn't pulled those rubber push pads off the the bumper yet)
