new bias ply tires

Anyone out there riding around on new bias tires? I'm looking at some new Courser Bias tires and am just wondering (having only experiance with old, hard bias tires) how they would ride.

Thanks.

Thom,
Have you gotten a price quote for those tires yet?

The best I can give you on how they might ride would be compared to my bias 33" Super Swamper TSLs, which are not that bad on the road after they have warmed up. I have not had any problems with them rattleing the truck apart like you talked about your old ones doing. I run them with only about 22psi though to help with that. I would think that they have improved on Coopers sense your last set. If the price is right I say go for them.

I ordered those Courser Tractions this afternoon. $116.46 each. Not to bad. They should be in in a week or two. I didn't want to pay the $18 shipping per tire so they will just come in with the shops next shipment.

All of those radials I liked turned out to be no longer made.

Thats a bummer on the radials. Well I bet the new bias tires ride better than your old ones did. I still haven't found any more of those 16" wheels so I haven't made a swap to the "classic" bias tires yet. But I think I will be going with the Coursers too because of the local Cooper dealer in town, it seems the Power Kings are harder to find. Any way let me know how the new tires work out for you and Keep your eyes peeled for 4 more of those rims.
