Hear are all the pics...
Here are all the photos of my rig that I have finally been able to put up here. It is an '81 J-10 auto trans, 727, new 33 inch mud kings, 208 transfer case, and a new rebuilt 304 v8. It has 125,326 original miles and everything works except a/c. The compressor wasn't put back in whenever the new motot was put in. The guy I bought it from said he was asking $2,300 but he would take $2,000....needless to say that was a done deal. It has a few small rust spots on rear quarters but not bad. My best friend does paint and body so I got that covered easy.I plan on adding the a/c comp. back in, completly re-doing the interior and what ever else my twisted little brain can spit out! I wonder if I can put some spikes on the center caps of my rims?

WELCOME TO THE SICKNESS!!
Once you do you first mod to your J-10 you are gonna be hooked deeper than you know. It's a good looking truck and not a bad deal!
Have fun with it

I'm undecided as to what color to put on it. I want to really dress it up but at the same time you know as soon as you do, some ding-dong is gonna be yackin' on his or her cell phone instead of looking at the road and good by paint job!

Was the 304 factory installed? Just curious. But nice rig, makes me wanna get mine going. I just started mine up to drive up front and put air in the tires...that is as far as I can go for now.
Have fun, and never sell it...if you do you'll regret it.

The factory motor was the 258 straight six. The 304 isn't to bad though. It has some pepper behind it....but not as much as that jet pack I have on order!
