Nice! I ususaly HATE the way boobie grilles look on J-trucks but yours has changed my mind! Good job!

Howd you address the round headlights issure since you started with the square ones? I cant get mine to line up for the life of me

I was gonna ask that too! My pignose to razor round has NOT gone easily. One side lines up the other not so much!

Nice. I like how boobie grills look on J-trucks, especially browed ones.

Looks good. I see you finally found another set of wheels for it. Do you have matching ones for the rear?

No "licking the boobie" pics?

You know after having Flints boobie grille on Brutus... I like it more and more each day. Only thing that I like the rhino better is that it is easier to get behind it at the wiring. I had to take the thing completely off to install my rock lights last week. Oh well!

Also it looks like you are one of the few people in the world who actually airs down the tires more than 5 psi before hitting the trials.

I dont have matching rims for the back thoes are just my spares. Ill be posting a new topic about my new wheels soon. these are temprorary untill I get tire.

I originally got the boobie because it was cheap and it used the same headlights as the razor and I wanted a razor. but I think the boobie is growing on me. I think Ill paint the plastic black though.

the pignose to razor wasnt easy. there are some pics in my photobucket in my sig. but it took alot of tinkering to get them good enough. they still arent centered in the bezel openings.

I was only in the empty lot beside my house where they logged it out. all the tires have 10 psi in them but you wouldnt know with the back cause they are 10ply bias tires.

I had a heck of a time getting my headlights to line up. Here's a trick I finally tried that worked pretty well.... I went to my local pick n pull with a beasuring tape a pen and a few pieces of scratch paper, and took as many measurements of where the tabs should line up as I possibly could. I ran down to the hardware store and got these little 1-inch by 2-inch or so drilled flat L-braces. I still had to relocate the holes in the brackets a little, but they are lined up pretty well, they're real sturdy, and I didn't have to weld anything.

I plan to get the rings off a round headlight rig and rivet them onto my truck for a more original fit. maybe somebody should make some rings that rivet o top of the old sheetmetal and have the mounts for the round lights. CALLING GEMOBX

L brackets are the easy way to go. My rounds matched one hole in the 88 valance and used L brackets on the other 3 for perfect alignment in the grille.

I just found out our user folder on the ISP is down. Hopefully this picture will show up at some point:

yea i got the one tab to line up on both too. but I think mine are rotated in a little to far. I just made some quick tabs out of flashing folded over 3 times and i got sheet metal screws holding them on. they seem to hold fine for now

dont make the square to round headlight thing wayyyy harder than it needs to be.
Cleatus posted a template and instructions (i think he took the posts down for some reason or another) and some other members had done this before that as well.

heres the quick and dirty:

- take your square buckets out and lay them next to the round ones and see just how similar they are.
- "undo" the fronts of the buckets ( i think its just springs holding it together)
- drill out the rivets holding the mounting tabs on both the round and square buckets
- put the square ones over the round ones and mark them with a marker (this will all make sense when you get to this step)
- drill the the holes for the "new" locations
- you will need to secure the tabs back onto the bucket somehow in the "new" location. I used small bolts w/nuts and a little JB-Weld(which wasnt even necessary
- re-assemble the buckets
- install them in the Jeep

They will be centered in the correct location.
