Transportation help DFW area to Houston

I need a transmission picked up in the DFW area and delivered to the Houston area if possible. I would be willing to pay for your time and hassle. The guy selling the tranny is Towtruck he said he is willing to drop it off in the DFW area but I need it in Houston. So if anybody is making the trip and doesnt mind helping a fellow board member out let me know Oh and thanks in advance for your help

I posted this over on the TX board maybe someone will chime in.
Janie and Bill left for Victoria this morning. The only one I know that is still supposed to be rolling out from up there is Lindel but I dunno what his load/schedule is like. If you can get someone from up there to bring it to the Victoria bash I can get it back to Houston for you.

Sorry, I can't. Allergies and a freshly busted windshield in the J-10 won't allow at the moment. Gary, I've got the headliner pulled out of the Chero for you, waiting for Pascal to give me a price on the axles to pick up later.

Crud, wish I'd known sooner. We had already left for Victoria when this got posted. How soon are you needing this trans?

Janie,

As BLip mentioned, he'd like to use the drive line stuff I have for sale....transmission, transfer case and bellhousing are the big items...also some pedals, linkages and a drive shaft. Since I'm leaving the area for an extended period around the first of May, that's probably the end date from my perspective. But if someone in this area gets down to Houston on a fairly regular basis, I'd be happy to drop the parts off any time for eventual transport to Blip. I don't want to speak for BLip, but that's my perspective.

Regards, Eric

Ahh I think I will stick with Lindel we already have it worked out so he will be getting the parts later this week and dropping them off to me in about a month I dont think I will go to crazy waiting as my current tranny has been broke for 2-3 months already.
