D60 steering issues

hey I just thought I would throw this out there and see if anyone has any input on it

I am havin big problems with my steering .........the trip before last when driving back home from Jordon River my p/s pump decided to puke the fluid out the steering pump cap ,,,

so while working on it ,,, I bleed the system ,, put the rig on jack stands and pulled the coil wire and turned it over for 2 minutes slowly cycling left to right ,,, ,,, check the fluid ,,put the cap on ,,,started it ,,,worked flawlessly ..

I finished the work on the jeep and gettin it ready for the trail run and pulled it ,,out ,,and the steerin wouldnt turn left or right ,, when not moving ,, and barely even when moving ...

I parked it in the driveway ,,,check the fluid...belt ,,all is great ,,, but not turn ,, only about 1/2 -3/4 of a turn in total ,,

its the D60 with hi steer arm . all new tie rod on the draglink ,,, great angle ,,all looks good ,... so thinkin something is binding ,,I removed the stock steerin dampner ....no different,, ... then I undid the tie rod on the passenger side ,,, so the 2 wheels werent connected any more,, worked great ,.. jacked the driver side up to take the weight off it ,,checck all this tie rods ,,, none siezed ..all working freely ...

with the drivers side still up ,,I reconnected the tierod ,,,and both wheels turn effortlessly...but as soon as i lower it back down on the ground and have full vehicle wieght on it ,,, it wont turn again ,,,

so I guessed not pumping ,,so changed the pump out ,,, re bleed it ,,(minutes before headin to the trail )..and was still not turn ,..but figured HEY I will take it out anyways ...

on the highway ,,worked great ,,and pretty easy goin ,,,on the dirt loads and trails ,,,growled and puked fluid all day long..the fluid was smokin hot and almost like it wasnt circulating

so now I am gettin ready to put another Fsj box in it this weekend ... but any ideas what this could be or what can be done to fix it ? is it tryin to tell ME just install Hydro-Steer?

thank
Slim

Bearing in the King pin might be piled up. Weight off no problem, because the weight of the wheels pull the knuckles down off the bottom bearings. weight on...... presses the bearings into the races and there could be a problem there. Be something to check out..............not that rebuilding the Kingpins is a pile of fun or anything
