Herc's rebellion

I had 3 straight trouble free months with the Wag before I left town. 2 days before I left the driver's door power window motor died. The day before I left we went wheeling with some friends and I found something interesting when I locked in the driver's side hub. It was loose, and when I pulled it off the o-ring that is supposed to be around the hub where it presses into the rotor was gone. No pieces, just gone. The hub still worked so I said screw it, let's go. While I was out I picked up a nail in the driver's front tire.

See a pattern? All the badness occured in close to the driver. I'm the driver. This can only lead me to conclude that Herc didn't want me to go away. Good news is the tire is patched. Anyone know a good source for power window motors?

dirt and dust kill power window motors. I'd try cleaning the heck outta it when you get back and see if it'll still work.

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.
