Now to take the debate even further... What do yall think about grill switching?? It grinds my gears a bit to see different year grilles on Jeeps. In particular to see the Rhino grill "misplaced" on later models. Other than the Rhino I guess it's not as big a deal to me.

I must be the oddball and say Muscle. My 83 Chero , or that era, looks to have been the start of the grill type for all other Jeeps since then, other than the Wrangler. I guess kinda like "why change the body style" of our FSJs, " why change the grill look"
Thast just my .2

Muscle Grilles work for me too! I voted Egg Crate because, I do that now. But I ran a Muscle Grille for a few years on my 88. Here is my first trip to Moab in Fall of 2001.

Hey fulsizejeep, I used that picture of yours to make a picture of my Jeep while I was deployed since I did not have a picture of mine and to see what the stock grill guard would look like on my Chero, Kewl!!

N I C E ! ! !
This is my other favorite shot of that grille... Above Poughkeepsie aproaching California Gulch in 2002. Another muscle grille with brush guard follows on a J20.

I voted for the bling of course. The quintessential FSJ grille...RHINO!
I like the fact that the grills can be interchanged with a few mods.
Not so crazy about the rhino on a Chero tho'. Shoot I sounded like Jesse Jackson there.

Another vote for Rhino. I have them on my 69, and swaped one onto my 79.

Our 76 Wagoneer, "Old Blue" (retired) has a chrome peeled, busted up Pig Nose on it from the PO. Even has the square headlights and everything. He said that he busted up the original Eggcrate (Boobie) grille in a snowstorm one day.
Our current Wagoneer (Also a 76, called "WOS") has a Razor grille on it.
My personal preference would be: A Razor grille with built in turn signals like the Eggcrate (Boobie) grille. I've had nothing but troubles with my current turn signals below the grille. Always getting poked with tree branches.
By the way, I have a complete Boobie and Razor for sale in the for sale section.

i am tied with the razor and rhino. my cherokee cheif has the rhino which looks great. my 85 wag will have a razor eventually, the stock grill is just in too good of shape to take off right now.

I think a bunch of guys registered as multiple users with other e-mail addresses they have so they could vote for the razor. The razor leads? Get out! I like my booby-grille. I like washing the lenses gently with a soft cloth.

Welp...originally I voted Muscle, but I gotta say that the more I've seen Flint's egg crate the more I'm likin' it.

As a general rule, the FSJ Gods have a tendency of smiting those who covet other's FSJs.
Real Jeeps are Built not Bought...
The nice thing for us is:
Since the FSJs shared so many interchangable parts, we were given free riegn to mix and match as we see fit.
