"-custom built 360 / 5.9 (mopar motor) "

Isn't that an AMC 360 in it?

There is some CHA CHING there $$$

The engine does seem kinda out of place in a wagoneer.

Yep, the dizzy's on the front. MoPar's in the rear.

Here we go again; obviosly another inflated price and misbranded motor on an FSJ. A common thread seems to run through the countless FSJs seen on eBay in that the stupidity of the sellers is only exceeded by their optimism of what such a car should fetch. This is one of the reasons why I tend to avoid eBay like AIDS and scabies.

Another beef: I resent seeing the displacement of old US iron in terms of liters. It's a 360, not a 5.9.

Imagine the Beach Boys singing:

That 360 should put out such HP and torque--for at least a few minutes......

I dunno... And AMC engine can't possibly put out that much horse power. It must be a Mopar engine <yeah, right>.

Well if it is actually a Pat Musi Motor then numbers should be right. Prolly is a Mopar 360, Pat is really well known for Chevy's with the Camaro's he runs but who knows.

That's an AMC V-8, DEFINITELY not a Mopar V-8. I emailed the seller at lunch time and "told" him that it's an AMC engine, not a Mopar. I also told him that it's PAT Musi, not PAUL Musi. It's rather common seeing eBay sellers with FSJs up for auction advertising Mopar 360s.

Lets see:

If you beleive

AMC == Mopar
Direct injection == Port injection
stainless steel radiator (??) never seen one made of stainless ??

Don't see anything great about the rig, seems OK, but certainly not 15K great.

and this is the reply I received tonight from the seller.

"Crysler bought AMC in 1987 and used the same configuration for a while, it is a Mopar. Thanks, QuikDrop"

Who sez it's OUR responsibility to rescue this seller guy from his malignant form of ignorance? There are doctors that get paid one heckuva lot more than we will for such service.

And I've got to admit I've never heard of a stainless steel radiator either. And also I'm not sure how efficient one could be, considering that many stainless steel saucepans have aluminum or copper welded to the bottom to aid in the even distribution of heat......

Every morning I arise I thank the Lord God I don't have to respond to such ads by actually purchasing such a vehicle.

Only thing I see that I like about is, is the redo on the seats, and the addition of a hole in the armrest for a cupholder..something they should have done in the first place.....But yah...this guy is full of it..
