Reebles '76 J10 Honcho
So, I picked up the J10 yesterday, for those of you who told me I should jump on the smoking deal thanks! Here are the pics I promised
More pics are here
http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y16.../J10%20Honcho/
For those who didn't see the other thread its got a 360 out of a 77 Waggy that was rebuilt 12K ago and some clicking in the transfer case and cost me 600 bones with the new tires
I drove it on the freeway for about 40 miles and it did absolutely wonderful and the radio still works too!
Im not sure if I am going to wheel it hard or restore it but I will be asking tons of questions with whatever I decide to do.
Thanks
Reanna
EDIT: I meant to post this in the General FSJ discussion, can a mod move it please? thx

There are a couple of sites open in Ouray this year... Short notice I know... Would be sweet to see that Honcho in action!

Sweet Mother of Jeeps!
That thing looks nice for $600. The transfer case probably needs some attention. I have a link for Quadratrac info in my signature. Ouray info in a link there too. Gas from CA would be pricey, but you only live once and you should drive it above the treeline at least once too! Looks like it has some lift too. 2 inches maybe? I think you got a smokin deal!

sweet score, wish I cold find one like that around here, I vote for a restore, one that solid to start with is hard to come by, and is worth saving, just my opinion, just enjoy it no matter what you do!!

Yep, I am leaning toward a restore, I have my wheeler already so that is a good plan for this
