I am thinking about lifting my Waggy about 2" from stock to allow me to run 31" tires. My problem is I just purchased some new Edelbroch IAS shocks that I would like to keep using. Will they work with this slight lift or can I relocate/modify the mounting bracket to make them work? Is there an adapter that will bolt to the existing mounts and move them the required amount without welding?

the only problem i can see is that the shocks would limit travel (mainly droop). if you don't plan on doing any major offroading you should be ok.

If you don't plan on taking it off-road much and are not suffering from Wag-Sag then you really don't need a lift to run 31's. I'm running them without a lift and only had some rear fender rubbing if I flexed it off-road. I will be adding a lift to cure this but only because I do take it off road. If I didn't I wouldn't bother.
