While working on the GW this weekend I noticed my front stabilizer bar and rear bar were missing. Is this common practice to remove these when you have a 2.5" lift. It just feels a little "swimmy" going down the road. The stearing is super responsive, sensative and that is a big plus. I replaced the stearing damper and it did not seam to make much of a change. Never had a vehicle with a lift so I am just trying to get it set up properly.
Thanks in advance.

yea, a lot of us ditch the sway bars or un sway bar disconnects. If you want it to feel a little more road worthy, you can replace the sway bar and as long as you have disconnects, you'll be able to remove it quickly for off road use and reconnect it again afterwards...

Are you talking about the sway bars o the trac-bars? The trac-bars have to come off with lift, the sway bars can stay.

trac bars can stay with up to 4" lift, you just don't have as much articulation

I guess I am missing both the track bar in the rear and the sway bar in the front. Is this correct? Since this is the wifes daily driver I will get them replaced thanks.
