ok finally i raised enough money (actually had to sell my racebike i got more time into the bike than i do my jeep) to afford the mods i really want i got the go ahead to get the regear for the 14ff and the d-44 and a detroit for the 14ff i am gonna order those 12 bolt recentered hummer beadlocks from usa 6x6. i am soo stoked i cant wait to get back to earth and start working on the wagon!!!!!!!!! oh ya should i leave the front open or go with the truetrac? i am planning a d-60 for the front but i dont know when? would it be feasable to upgrade to the truetrac or save the 350 bucks for something else?

save the $350 and put that towards your D60....

you have a 14FF now? COOL!!!! What gearing is in it? You might want to find the D60 with the regear and Detroit money... that way you have BOTH axles you want... THEN worry about the regear....

actually thats not a bad idea todd, the 60 may be some time away from now seeing as i have the 44 already, i got the axles outa a 73 suburban that i just happened to see the axle for sale on ebay. i e-mailed the owner and he said he'd pull everything and send it to me for 600 or i could pick up the entire truck for 400, so i go the whole truck. now i have the brakes tank steering all that cool stuff i needed for the jeep and all for dirt cheap. i gotta lot of work to do when i get back to the states.
